Take One

In our upcoming project we will be working on a collaborative video project. This project allows us to collaborate with students of Kansai University. When I first heard of the project, I was a little nervous and excited. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. The most exciting part for me was getting the opportunity to work with students from Japan. At first I was thinking how will this all come together? I am excited about creating this video too, but I am looking forward to this unique collaboration experience. I enjoy working in a group because everyone has such good ideas that the quality of the product is much more valuable. I am curious to compare how we all use social media.

This project requires us to put together a 3 minute video that is published on Youtube. The video may include video, pictures, words, and music. This video needs to convey how social media is used in our countries. I am curious to see what social media applications are populare in Japan. Let's get this project rolling!

  1. Aloha Brittany,
    Great blog post!
The project is happening and now and I too am excited in working with my classmates at the Kansai University! I think with your fun and talented personality working with second language speakers will be a blast! How goes the video process? I think that we are working on making a video regarding commercials and cross cultural comparisons. I think it will be very interesting as Japanese Commercials can be quite zany compared to America.. and well.. maybe most countries.. There is a youtube channel dedicated to these commercials, if you have time you should check it out!!
